Summary

Kobayashi and Liu Zi venture into the Dungeon beneath the Tower of Babel, drawn by the promise of reputation, wealth, and adventure. As they descend, Kobayashi feels both excitement and a chill, sensing the Dungeon's living presence. They encounter groups of adventurers and various monsters, including goblins, which Kobayashi swiftly defeats. Despite their efforts, they find little reward in terms of magical stones. As they progress through several levels, the monsters grow slightly stronger, but Kobayashi remains undeterred, eager for a significant challenge. He recalls advice about the dangers of deeper levels but chooses to press on. Upon reaching the 15th floor, he battles the formidable Ox Heads, gaining valuable experience and loot. However, when he reaches the 17th floor, he finds the floor master Leah already defeated, revealing a pig-human hybrid named Ao Ta.
