Summary

The Zheng Jia birthday banquet concludes, and Li Yan Qing escapes from the persistent Qin Gui, who seeks an introduction to Liang Tai Shi. Li Yan Qing, harboring anger over Qin Gui's historical betrayal of Yue Fei, warns him to stay away. As Li Yan Qing walks toward Suzaku Gate, he notices he is being followed by several individuals, likely Gao Yanei's lackeys. He cleverly engages with a stall vendor to buy chess pieces, using the opportunity to evade his pursuers. When cornered in an alley, Li Yan Qing confronts the lackeys, offering them silver to leave, but instead, he uses the chess pieces as weapons, quickly incapacitating them. He then threatens the leading lackey, warning him to relay a deadly message to Gao Yanei. Following this encounter, Gao Qiu and his son arrive at the scene, where Gao Qiu realizes the potential danger posed by Li Yan Qing and orders an investigation into his background.
