Chapter 20: Ren Qian Qian Crossing Borders [138]

Summary

Zhou Hai Tang, a master of the Tian Ren sect, is surprised when Li Hao, whom he invited, declines to become his disciple. Despite this, he recognizes Li Hao's exceptional martial arts skills. Li Hao seeks an introduction to Bai Chun Hai for a painting, not to become a disciple. Zhou Hai Tang informs him that Bai Chun Hai will arrive in three days for the Master's Conference. Li Hao leaves the wine shop and is confronted by Zhou Ling Er and her companions, who express their disdain for his choice not to accept Zhou Hai Tang's offer. Li Hao ignores them and heads to the Wu Miao temple, where he meets Ren Qian Qian, who is excited about being recognized by a senior at the Four Standing Realm. They plan to enjoy the city and attend the upcoming conference. The city hosts a martial arts competition, attracting talents from various states. Zhou Ling Er and her friend Xu Wan Er encounter Li Hao and Ren Qian Qian at the event. Zhou Ling Er challenges Li Hao, who is uninterested, while Ren Qian Qian steps in to defend him. The two women spar, and despite their level difference, Ren Qian Qian wins decisively, showcasing her impressive swordsmanship. Afterward, Ren Qian Qian continues to challenge others and defeats several opponents before losing to a woman of a higher realm. Li Hao encourages her, recognizing her potential despite her disappointment.
