Summary

Ye Cheng, Lin Yu, and Tang Qiu Yan, members of a Communist group, undertake a dangerous mission to sabotage a Japanese military stronghold in Shanghai. After successfully infiltrating the heavily guarded area, they engage in a fierce gunfight, ultimately planting explosives in the weapons storage. Despite Lin Yu being injured, they manage to escape just before the stronghold is destroyed. Later, they train local farmers to resist the Japanese and successfully ambush an enemy raid, boosting morale among the guerrillas. However, they face increasing pressure as the Japanese retaliate, leading to further battles and a mission to thwart a concentration camp plan, culminating in a daring rescue of imprisoned Chinese.
