Summary

Nagayama Yuuzuru reflects on the decline of the He Mao Shrine and its once-prominent family, the He Mao, now diminished and lacking power. He encounters He Mao Huan Nai, a seventh-tier deity who appears as a young girl, and is surprised by her humility and vulnerability. As they converse, she reveals her ability of future sight, which shows her becoming close to Yuuzuru. After an awkward moment regarding their potential relationship, she asks him to leave, but he leaves her a durable phone for emergencies. Later, Yuuzuru contacts Calla, a fox demon, to meet, warning her of potential threats from other powerful forces. When Calla arrives, she is confronted by delinquents, but Yuuzuru intervenes, offering to handle the situation for her.
