Summary

In this chapter, Young Lady Yuui reluctantly engages in a negotiation with Yuuzuru Nagayama, who manipulates the situation to acquire items of significance to her. Despite her anger, she ultimately agrees to give him a spear and a fan, while he insists on taking Kuang Gu as a guest to Long Jun Shrine for a year. Young Lady Yuui, despite her fury, promises to retrieve Kuang Gu later. After adding her as a friend on his phone, Nagayama makes a condescending remark about her pale skin, which angers her further. He then leans in to sniff her, claiming he can track her scent, which prompts Yuhui Fox's protective response. Following this, Nagayama makes a video call to Yuui, teasing her and implying he will interfere with her plans against Hua Kai Yuan, leaving her frustrated. Meanwhile, Kyougoku, a loyal follower of Yuuhihime, confronts Nagayama, who mocks her devotion and knocks her out to make her his shikigami. As Kyougoku becomes bonded to him, she struggles with her new status but quickly grows fond of Nagayama, who treats her kindly. The chapter ends with Nagayama and Kyougoku traveling together, forming an unexpected bond.
