Chapter 19: Profound Cultivation. [18]

Summary

Wang Ling Zhi, a young boy, was enthralled by the martial arts skills demonstrated by Shen Xi, a seemingly knowledgeable individual. Shen Xi taught Wang Ling Zhi various moves, including leg techniques, waist techniques, and shoulder techniques, claiming they were the basics for mastering superior martial arts. He even promised to transcribe a martial arts manual for Wang Ling Zhi. Intrigued, Wang Ling Zhi brought writing supplies the next day, and Shen Xi proceeded to inscribe a "martial arts manual" based on what he had read in novels, intentionally writing crookedly to avoid suspicion. Shen Xi's goal was to make Wang Ling Zhi obsessed with martial arts and follow his instructions, hinting at a ulterior motive. Wang Ling Zhi, unable to fully comprehend the manual, was nonetheless convinced of Shen Xi's knowledge and eagerly awaited the opportunity to learn more and venture into the martial arts world together.
