Summary

The Witch Lord, Zhou Shang, is captivated by Kazumi's portrait but is interrupted by a soldier reporting an attack from savage beasts. Zhou Shang orders a defense of the city. Mo Wuji and Kazumi discuss the situation, revealing Kazumi's tragic past involving Zhou Shang and her friend Huan Lu Er, who was tortured and killed by him. Mo Wuji vows revenge. As they observe the battle, Mo Wuji recognizes Pan Jie, a disciple of his, fighting alongside Zhou Shang.
