Summary

Ning Qiushui feels an unsettling presence in his inn room, heightened by the glowing blood jade he possesses. He gathers his companions, Bai Xiaoxiao and Liu Chengfeng, to discuss the ominous implications of the jade's light and the unnaturally dusty state of the room. They deduce that the inn has not been used for a long time, raising suspicions about its safety. As night falls rapidly, they decide against exploring the village after dark. Later, Ning is startled awake by a crawling entity beneath his bed, sensing its danger but remaining silent to avoid detection. The entity eventually leaves, but a chilling scream from outside disrupts the night, signaling impending danger.
