Summary

Zhang Ye is determined to protect his favorite song, "But Wish People Longevity", from being altered by a team of musicians. He thinks their versions are too popular, too obscure, or too rocky, and believes they have ruined the original melody. Zhang Ye takes copyrights seriously, as they are crucial to his living and foundation in this world. Zhang Ye values each copyright and wants to take his time to let his works reach their maximum potential. He clashes with Wang Ge, who composed one of the versions, and the relationship between them reaches a breaking point.
