Summary

In this chapter, Mei Lun and his companions face off against powerful dog-headed beasts that wield flame abilities. Jin Mao bravely protects Mei Lun from fireballs, but is injured in the process. Spike, using his "Giant Titan" ability, grows to an enormous size and easily dispatches several of the beasts. As they continue through a cavern filled with lava rivers, they discover a mysterious black dragon egg that emanates immense power. Mei Lun contemplates the significance of the egg, realizing it may be linked to the last transcendent era. However, their approach provokes the dragon's might, awakening legendary dog-headed beasts that attack. Jin Mao sacrifices himself to protect Mei Lun but is gravely injured. Mei Lun manages to stabilize Jin Mao and defeats the attacking beasts with his powers. As Mei Lun prepares to claim the dragon egg, he is unexpectedly confronted by a figure resembling his father, who reveals that he has created a space to communicate with Mei Lun.
