Summary

Mei Lun enters a chaotic tavern on Golden Island, where he seeks information about the magic cave. Despite the disorder, there are unwritten rules among the pirates. After displaying his transcendent abilities by incapacitating a drunken patron from the Viper Pirate Crew, he gains the attention of the bartender, Huo Di, who shares details about the dangerous Abyss and its man-eating golden monster. Mei Lun, after verifying the information with a gold coin payment, leaves the tavern just as a group from the Poison Snake Pirate Crew arrives, seeking revenge for their fallen comrade. Mei Lun easily dispatches their leader and continues deeper into Golden Island, where he finds a cave entrance leading to the dungeon. Inside, he encounters a golden-haired monster, which he realizes is a dog-like creature. Instead of being hostile, the creature seems protective and non-threatening. Mei Lun decides to befriend the golden retriever-like monster and invites it to follow him.
