Summary

Wang Chao, on a diplomatic mission in the bitter cold of Blue City, documents his observations about Great Xia, a weak nation with a cowardly military and submissive populace. He learns about the regicide of the former king and the subsequent rise of Ou Mu Er Shi, who relied on the Moon Clan to maintain power. Despite Great Xia's rich resources and fertile land, its economy lags behind the Han Dynasty. The mission, initially large, dwindled to just Wang Chao and one official due to hardships. Upon arrival at the Great Xia palace, Wang Chao greets the nobles, including Qiu Mimi from the Moon Clan, who expresses gratitude for his efforts amidst the looming threat of the Xiongnu.
