Chapter 13: Using Troops Like a God - Han Xuan (2). [13]
Summary
Huang San Yuan feels anxious about the large troop led by Han Xuan Zhi, fearing exposure of his earlier encounter with only two bandits. As they march through difficult terrain, many soldiers suffer from ailments, while Han Xuan Zhi remains in a luxurious carriage, dismissing the need for speed and rest. Huang San Yuan realizes Han Xuan Zhi's arrogance and lack of true leadership. Meanwhile, Xue Ban Chuan, concerned for Han Xuan Zhi's safety, leads a hundred elite cavalry to check on him. As they approach Hamagura Ridge, Huang San Zhi insists on taking a narrow trail instead of the main road, believing it will thwart potential ambushes. Unbeknownst to them, local bandit leaders are on high alert, watching the troop's movements.Full content
