Summary

In Chapter 12, the story unfolds at Qing Niu Mountain, where Xu Shenji is reluctantly tasked by his leader, Cheng Dalei, to negotiate with the bandit leader Gao Fei Hu regarding an impending attack from rival groups. Despite his fears, Xu Shenji sets off with Lin Shao Xia, while Cheng Dalei experiments with gunpowder to prepare for defense.
