The Heroic Journey Across the World.

Chapter 13: Theoretical Beginning. [50]

Summary

Hao Qi invites Zhang Heng to a quiet room to discuss the characteristics of blue grass and its mutated form, red-blue grass. They refer to the Compendium of Materia Medica, which states that red-blue grass is rare and can only be found in deep, untouched areas. Zhang Heng explains that at least a hundred blue grass plants must be planted in one acre for a chance of red-blue grass to appear, but this research is flawed as blue grass withers if more than twenty are planted in an acre. Hao Qi expresses a desire to find a location where blue grass can thrive in abundance, leading Zhang Heng to suggest two potential terrains: the Wanyao Pool, a unique marshland, and the Sky Sea, where three-dimensional farming could occur. Zhang Heng shares his knowledge about the geography of the Blue Sea and its surrounding regions, including the other six seas. Hao Qi, excited about the vastness of the world, declares his intention to explore all seven seas and insists they first focus on finding a suitable environment for cultivating red-blue grass, particularly in Zhang Heng's hometown. They agree to start their search for a location resembling the Wanyao Pool.
