Summary

A headless stone Buddha over 3 meters tall rises, intimidating yet not a threat to cultivator Xu Lao Gui. After Xu Lao Gui shatters it, the fragments reassemble, revealing it as a powerful stone ghost, a servant of evil cultivators. Concerned, Xu Lao Gui and Du Yan Li realize they must tread carefully. The stone Buddha attacks, and despite their efforts, it proves resilient. Xu Lao Gui eventually grinds down its legs, causing it to fall. Du Yan Li discovers an iron plate beneath the Buddha but struggles to lift it. In frustration, Xu Lao Gui shatters a black bottle, unleashing a wretched scream from within. As he leaves, a figure appears at the temple door, greeting him.
