Summary

Two stern men in green uniforms, brought by Zeng Zhi Jun, approach Wu Bo Da instead of the farm's leader, Captain Ma. They head to the back mountain, returning visibly affected. Shen Jiao and others are anxious, fearing repercussions related to Xu Qiao and Zhao Si. Shen Jia Xing advises Shen Jiao to feign ignorance if questioned about her fourth uncle. Zeng Zhi Jun visits Captain Ma, emerging with a composed demeanor. Meanwhile, the two men deduce that enemy spies Zhao Si and Gu Chen have escaped into T Province and plan to report this. They split up for further action, with Old Zhou complimenting Wu Bo Da for his report. Shen Jia Xing and others are subjected to intense interrogation, while Shen Jiao anxiously awaits news at home. Han Qi Xiu reassures her, but she harbors resentment towards Wu Bo Da for betraying her uncle. Ma Hong Bing summons Shen Jiao, who is interrogated by Old Xu and Old Zhou. Old Xu adopts a softer approach, but Old Zhou is cold. Shen Jiao, feeling dizzy, plays the innocent child well, denying knowledge of her grandfather and claiming her fourth uncle was killed by wolves.
