Summary

Shen Jiao stays home due to a snowstorm and Captain Ma's announcement prohibiting outdoor activity. Ma Xing Hua, a friend, prepares spicy soup for her instead of going to the sanitation station, which is closed. Shen Jiao feels guilty for not being able to help but is comforted by the soup's warmth and flavor. Meanwhile, a crowd gathers outside as Captain Ma calls names of farm workers. Two individuals, Zhao Si and Gu Chen, are missing, raising concerns among the group. Qian Wen Liang recalls Zhao Si's intention to catch foxes in the snow, prompting a search party led by Captain Ma. They venture up the mountain but hesitate due to the dangerous conditions. Eventually, they find evidence of a struggle, including torn clothing and bloodstains, indicating something terrible may have happened to Zhao Si and Gu Chen.
