Summary

Old Ma learns that Bai Lian, a ten-year-old genius girl, is about to become a disciple of true lord Bai Chen, prompting concern about her potential. Lu Chen reflects on his own past as a young genius and reassures Old Ma he will look into the situation. Meanwhile, in the Kunlun Mountains, Lu Chen adapts to life in the Flowing Fragrance Garden, where he bonds with other servant disciples, particularly He Chang Sheng, who aspires to restore his family's former glory despite their decline. He Chang Sheng expresses hope for the future, believing that enduring hardship will eventually benefit his children and revive the He Family. Lu Chen, however, remains skeptical of such dreams.
