Summary

A Tu observes the giant beast Qing Niu from a distance in the forest, intrigued by its strange behavior and the scent of spiritual herbs nearby. Despite the allure of the fragrant garden, Qing Niu does not approach it, eventually walking away. A Tu decides to follow, leading him to Dog Head Mountain, where Qing Niu is revered by the animals. A Tu feels a mix of yearning and fear before retreating as night falls. The next day, Lu Chen leaves Kunlun and reflects on his lack of a home while in the bustling Kunwu City. He engages in a conversation with Old Horse about trust and relationships, revealing his suspicions about potential traitors within the Kunlun Sect, including Su Qing Jun. Lu Chen expresses a deep-seated distrust of everyone except for a few individuals, urging Old Horse to investigate Su Qing Jun's background. The chapter ends with Lu Chen deciding to look into another person as well.
