Summary

In a tense mountain forest encounter, the protagonist and Song Zi undergo a complex verification process to prove their authenticity, cutting their fingers to demonstrate they are not "Xiao" imposters. They reunite with Gan Mu near a peculiar treeless clearing, which might be the burial site of a mysterious stone box.
