Summary

Miao Yi, puzzled by the effectiveness of poison and sonic attacks on beast pouches, quickly protects himself with his heart flame as his consciousness blurs. Despite warnings, his companions, Zhongli Kuai and Huangfu Junmou, charge into a forbidden area, succumbing to disorientation. Miao Yi rescues them, sealing their powers for safety. Investigating the area, he discovers a lake filled with human bones and encounters a woman stealing spiritual ginseng. As she dives into the lake, Miao Yi follows, only to face a swarm of tiny black insects that attack them. He manages to fend them off, but the woman is quickly consumed, leaving Miao Yi to explore the dark depths for treasure amidst the chaos.
