Summary

In a tense encounter, Chu Yu finds himself pursued by four Boundary Demons and decides to retreat, realizing the danger of the situation. As he escapes, he senses a powerful presence from a distant ancient temple, which he approaches after hearing a Buddhist chant. There, he meets the legendary monk Ran Deng, who hints at Chu Yu's past and the importance of his companions. The monk advises him against bringing his less powerful allies into battle, offering to help by taking them and providing valuable texts. A white-robed Bodhisattva appears, revealing a connection to Lin Shi, who is taken under her guidance, leaving Chu Yu with mixed feelings about their separation and the impending battle at Ziliang Pass.
