Summary

Yi Fan was unable to prevent Zheng Long from killing Lu Kun, who fell lifeless to the ground. Stunned, Yi Fan confronted Zheng Long, who, fueled by vengeance, was ready to kill again. Yi Fan pleaded with him to stop, but Zheng Long declared he would rather be drenched in blood for his brother's sake. This left Yi Fan conflicted, recalling the weight of killing and the nature of regret. As he walked away, he felt sorrow for Zheng Long, who was consumed by hatred. Yi Fan heard the chaos behind him and ducked into an alley, relieved that Zheng Long and his brother had escaped. He continued north, determined to reach Pu Tian Temple, hoping his master and the little fox were alive. After reaching the North City Gate, he decided to rest until dawn, unaware that a shadow was watching him.
