Summary
As night fell, Pei Zhan delivered essential farming tools to Prince Su, Zhao Hong Run, at the Wei Army's camp. After hearing of the prince's need, Pei Zhan emptied Anling City’s supplies. The following day, captured Chu soldiers, bound and weak, were forced to transport timber under strict supervision by Wei officers. Despite their fear, some attempted to escape but were swiftly executed as a warning.
