Summary

Yan Luo, having recently transferred to a new school, enjoys a friendly environment but is concerned about his classmate Ye Ran, who is sick. After a brief encounter with Xu Qin Wen, he discovers a mysterious folded paper boat in Ye Ran's desk, triggering confusion and a sense of urgency to find her. Later, he meets his new teacher, Qin Ruo Lin, who seems enigmatic and asks him to check on Ye Ran, giving him a paper crane as a blessing. On his way to visit Ye Ran, he unexpectedly runs into Zheng Lin, who also intends to check on her but ultimately decides not to accompany him. The chapter ends with Yan Luo heading to Ye Ran's house alone, leaving Zheng Lin behind.
