Chapter 10: Attempting to Treat Smallpox (Part 2). [11]

Summary

Sun Si Miao, a renowned Immortal and the Medicine King, was sought after by the Hu family for his exceptional medical skills. Li Su, who had been talking to the Wang brothers about smallpox, was overheard by Sun Si Miao, who believed Li Su had a solution to the heavenly flower, a deadly disease. Sun Si Miao was desperate and followed Li Su to the Hu family's courtyard, where a cow with the heavenly flower was presented. Li Su explained that the cow's antibodies and immune system were stronger than humans, and he planned to use the cow's purulent discharge to create a treatment. However, Li Su soon realized that his method could only prevent smallpox in healthy individuals and not cure those already infected. He apologized to the Wang brothers, who were devastated by the news. Sun Si Miao, on the other hand, was excited about the possibility of preventing smallpox and promised to help Li Su if his method was effective.
