Summary

A quiet autumn rain has been falling for ten days in Tangyin County, Great Song Dynasty, creating a gloomy atmosphere. The protagonist, Li Da Qi, a frail scholar, struggles against the elements as he heads to Liwen Village. Upon arriving, he finds a half-dead weasel, which he hopes to claim for himself.
