Summary

Feng Yu Gui, a destitute scholar, flees to escape famine and collapses near a grave. He dreams of an old man from the Yang Tribe, who offers his adopted daughter, Wei Niang, in marriage. Awakening, Feng discovers he is alive, and villagers nurse him back to health. Later, Li Shu Xiang, searching for his father’s grave, finds connections to Feng's experience. They excavate a grave and revive Wei Niang, who recounts her tragic past. After uncovering family ties, a feast celebrates their reunion, leading to a new chapter in their lives as Feng and Wei Niang's fates intertwine amidst shared histories and losses.
