Chapter 000: Qin Hui. [466]
Summary
In Qingzhou, a pig was killed, revealing the words "Qin Gui, seventh generation" within the meat, which was deemed inedible even by dogs. The locals connected Qin Gui to historical grievances, leading to the construction of the Yue Wang Temple in his honor. Wan Qi Xian was humiliated as passersby threw stones at him. Later, the Feng descendants destroyed the Yue Wang statue, forcing Gui and Xian to kneel at the "Goddess of Descendants" shrine. This narrative highlights the cyclical nature of misunderstandings and the impact of sycophancy, as seen in the tale of Zi Yu, who was later renamed Wei Jian.Full content
