Summary

In Kaifeng, Deng Cheng De, studying in a temple, encounters a stunning woman, Fang Wen Shu, who visits nightly. They develop a relationship, and she gives birth to a son, Yan Sheng. However, Fang feels burdened and mysteriously vanishes. Years later, Deng returns home, unaware of his wife's struggles after he left. His wife, Lou, has raised Yan Sheng, believing he was hers. When Deng learns the truth, he is shocked and joyous, but Fang's presence lingers as a memory. Ultimately, she fades away, leaving Deng and Lou to reconcile their past and present.
