Summary

Si Si and Qing Er return to the mansion and joyfully reunite with Li Yan Qing, though he notices Si Si's hidden sadness. After tea, Li Yan Qing checks on their sleeping son, and Cao Yun reveals she spoke to Si Si about her inability to bear children, which Si Si seems to have taken to heart. Li Yan Qing comforts Si Si, who feels guilty about not being able to give him a child. They share a tender moment, leading to intimacy. The next day, they visit Mo Jun's family to meet a child in need of adoption. Si Si is immediately drawn to the baby, whom she believes is a blessing from the Bodhisattva after making a wish at a monastery. Li Yan Qing supports her wish to adopt the child, and they decide to name her Li Lian, bringing joy to their family.
