Summary

Above the East Sea lies a mysterious ancient island adorned with vibrant five-colored winter flowers. Zhang Sheng, a man from Denzhou, longs to explore this enchanting place. Upon arrival, he is captivated by the beauty and fragrance of the flowers. While enjoying a moment of solitude, he meets a stunning woman in red, who engages him in delightful conversation. Just as their connection deepens, a hurricane strikes, and she vanishes, warning him of Young Master Hai's return. Suddenly, a massive snake attacks Zhang Sheng, trapping him. In a moment of desperation, he uses fox poison to kill the snake, returning home shaken and ill, haunted by the experience and wondering if the woman was a snake spirit.
