Summary
King Lü Xi of Qi and Zhao Hong Zhao discuss a potential alliance between their kingdoms. Despite Zhao's hopes, King Lü Xi's refusal to ally stems from his belief that Qi's situation remains unchanged regardless of Wei's fate. Zhao realizes that Qi's interest lies in ensuring Wei's survival against Chu. He argues that Wei's recent military successes may not guarantee future victories, especially with the looming threat of Chu's military strength.
