Summary
In a post-court discussion, Yong Wang Hong Yu reflects on his brother Zhao Hong Run's unexpected military success against the State of Chu, which has garnered the Wei Emperor's favor. Despite the legal overreach in troop mobilization, the Emperor's joy suggests no repercussions for Zhao or General Xu Yin. Meanwhile, Hong Yu and his brother Xiang Wang Hong Jing acknowledge the rising influence of Crown Prince Hong Li, aided by advisor Luo Sha, who has impressed the Emperor with a new musical piece celebrating their brother's achievements. Hong Yu remains wary of his brothers' ambitions, particularly Xiang Wang's scheming nature. He decides to distance himself from the Ministry of Revenue and Personnel, focusing instead on the Ministry of Justice, indicating a strategic shift in his political alliances.Full content
