Summary
The Wei Army, under their general's command, advanced steadily against the Chu soldiers at Dangshan Camp. The Chu soldiers, led by Zi Che Yu, faced overwhelming strength and discipline from the Wei infantry, which outmatched them despite being outnumbered. The Wei soldiers displayed relentless efficiency, executing a flawless formation change that left the Chu troops in despair. As the battle escalated, the Wei cavalry remained on standby, ready to hunt down retreating Chu soldiers. Despite attempts to surrender, the Chu soldiers were mercilessly killed, leading to widespread panic and retreat. Ultimately, the Chu army, demoralized and outmatched, faced a grim fate as they were driven toward the Cai River, where many chose to jump in rather than face the Wei soldiers.
