Summary

In a vast desert, fifteen sleek spaceships threaten a majestic fortress. Pei Shan, leader of a low-profile Transcendent organization, betrays the Xia clan for the promise of eternal life from the Demon God. Yuan Qing, another member, reflects on his painful past with the Xia clan before he and Pei Shan attack their allies. Dongbo Snow Eagle, a loyal member of the Xia clan, is shocked by the betrayal. As chaos ensues, a golden-robed sorcerer captures Yuan Qing and attempts to control the warships. However, an explosion from within one warship, set off by Dongbo Snow Eagle, destroys Pei Shan and damages the fortress. In the aftermath, Yuan Qing reveals his true identity as a demon beast and explains his betrayal, citing his parents' deaths at the hands of humans. The golden-robed sorcerer takes Yuan Qing to the main fortress, where they plan against Dongbo Snow Eagle. The chapter ends with the Great Demon God discussing a costly plan to deal with Dongbo Snow Eagle.
