Summary

In the land of Lai Yi Yang, Song Yu, a departmental official, encounters a mysterious elderly woman while renting a desolate mansion. One night, two maids attending to Song Yu's mother witness the woman spraying water in the courtyard, which suddenly bursts into their room, knocking them unconscious. The next morning, the family finds Song Mu and the maids lifeless, but one maid revives and recounts the events. In a fit of rage, Song Yu commands his family to dig where the woman was buried, uncovering a corpse filled with water, intensifying the eerie atmosphere and fear within the household.
