Part 23. Chapter 16: One Against a Whole Bunch. [737]
Summary
In this chapter, Zhu Rong and other ancient chaotic gods propose a truce to avoid war, claiming it would benefit all beings in the Three Realms. However, Qin Yun and his allies challenge their justification for consuming weaker beings, arguing that it disrupts the natural order. Zhu Rong insists on taking half of the Three Realms' territories due to their power, which prompts strong objections from Qin Yun and his companions, who refuse to cede any land. As tensions rise, Zhu Rong's group attempts to sway Qin Yun’s side using a powerful illusion that evokes deep emotions and desires, leading to confusion and distress among them. Guanyin advises to recite the Clear Heart Spell to resist the influence. Qin Yun, however, remains largely unaffected due to his strong Primordial Spirit and protects his allies with the Smoke Rain Array. . Bo Xun, a formidable enemy, boasts of his powers, suggesting that despite their protective array, Qin Yun and his companions lack the means to effectively counterattack. This further escalates the confrontation as both sides prepare for a potential battle.Full content
