Flying Sword Inquiries the Dao

Part 20. Chapter 2: Sweeping Through Everywhere. [663]

Summary

Qin Yun has accumulated 80% of the merit required for a rare merit treasure but is still 20% short. His masters, Nuwa and Lingbao Tianzun, discuss the rarity of merit treasures and the difficulty of gathering the remaining merit. They suggest Qin could kill Star-Extinguishing Demons, but finding such high-sin targets is nearly impossible due to their hiding in sealed territories. Qin Yun considers attacking the Demon Path's remaining open world but recognizes it's a trap set by Bo Xun, a powerful demon. Despite the danger, Qin decides to cleanse the Three Realms, beginning with sweeping the vast worlds of demons. He kills numerous high-sin demons and Celestial Demons, gaining merit while destabilizing the Demon Path. The Demon Ancestor, enraged, orders a retreat, but many demons are unable to escape Qin Yun's relentless attacks. Qin’s actions bring significant damage to the Demon Path, marking a great calamity for their forces.
