Summary

In a tale of survival, Yin Yuan Li, a skilled acupuncturist from Yunnan, encounters danger from bandits and wildlife while seeking refuge in the mountains. After helping an old woman with painful tumors, he is grateful for the hospitality of her sons, Ban Zhua and Ban Ya. Three years later, while facing a pack of wolves, he is saved by two tigers, which turn out to be the Ban brothers. After reuniting with the old woman, who has been waiting for him, Yin learns the brothers have been lost. He enjoys her hospitality but wakes up alone, realizing the true identity of his saviors.
