Summary

In the heavenly realm, Chen Xiaolian, a dedicated student, befriends Zhu Sheng, a hardworking boy from a poor family. They study under Mr. Lu, a struggling scholar. Chen secretly uses his father's money to support Zhu's education, leading to conflict. After Chen’s father discovers the truth, Zhu is allowed to continue studying, treated like family. Their bond deepens, but after two years, Zhu faces challenges as Chen seeks to resume his studies. Eventually, Zhu’s spirit lingers after death, guiding Chen.
