Summary

Geng Niang, the daughter of Jin Da Yong, was engaged to You Tai Shou's daughter. After bandits scattered her family, she fled south with Jin, meeting Guang Ling Wang. Despite warnings from her companion about Guang Ling's intentions, they traveled together. After a series of betrayals, Geng Niang killed Guang Ling Wang in self-defense. She then committed suicide upon discovery by his brother. Meanwhile, Jin survived and was rescued by Yin Weng, who helped him mourn his family. Jin's wife insisted he fulfill his duties, and after a military summons, they sought to honor Geng Niang's grave. In a twist of fate, they found Geng Niang alive, leading to a heartfelt reunion.
