Summary

The Cui family's downfall began when they colluded with the Xixia people. Wang Ning An showed no mercy, and the citizens were furious, calling for their punishment. The Cui family's wall was breached, and they were slaughtered. Cui Xi Feng, who had dreamed of being an emperor, was found hiding behind a curtain. He attempted to negotiate with Wang Ning An, offering to reveal secrets about the Zhong Jia and other high-ranking officials in exchange for his life. Cui Xi Feng revealed that he had delivered money to Wen Yan Bo and sent beauties to Pang Ji's son. He also claimed that Wang Su had smuggled Shu silk to Xixia and that Wang Gong Chen had received beauties from the Western Regions. However, Wang Ning An was not interested in his revelations and instead had his jaws removed, rendering him unable to speak.
