Summary

Zhi Shili's anger dissipates as he confronts Kang Su Mi about saving the Khan, but learns the Khan has died. In a fit of rage, Zhi Shili kills Kang Su Mi and mourns the Khan's death. Surrounded by Sui cavalry led by General Luo Cheng, Zhi Shili decides to surrender to save his remaining soldiers. After gathering his men, they lay down their arms and surrender. Meanwhile, the Sui army, having suffered casualties, prepares to return home. Zhang Xuan learns of the Khan's death and the capture of Zhi Shili and other soldiers. Zhi Shili, a notable figure who could potentially ally with the Sui, meets Zhang Xuan, who recognizes his significance.
