Summary

In a tense encounter, Ji Du and his companions face the formidable demon leaders Ban Du, Tai Guan, and Dan Tu, who mistake them for the southern Demon Cavalry. Chi Yuan devises a plan to buy time for their escape by confronting the demons, but his friends are reluctant to let him stay behind. Yao Laogen, who has remained undetected, volunteers to negotiate with the demons instead. He successfully gains their trust by fabricating a story about his hardships and the refusal of his comrades to serve under the Demon Lord. Meanwhile, Chen Hai, aware of a lurking Old Demon, strategizes to intercept Yao Laogen and the demon leaders before they reach Tianlang Mountain, hoping to exploit the situation to their advantage.
