Summary

Tian Huang, filled with rage, confronts Amano Shoujiang, who attempted to poison him. Amano admits his actions were driven by selfish desires and accepts his defeat. Tian Huang spares Amano's life but forbids him from practicing medicine. Su Tao, who healed the Emperor, expresses no rivalry with Amano and requests protection for his clinic in Kyoto. He also seeks leniency for Infante Noriko, who helped inform the Crown Princess. The Emperor, impressed by Su Tao's skills, offers him a position but Su Tao declines, advocating for Traditional Chinese Medicine instead. He later comforts Noriko, who feels helpless after risking her relationship with her father.
