The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu experiences a sudden attack from golden hornet-like creatures that emerge from golden clouds. He initially uses wood energy to combat them but finds it ineffective against their metallic nature. Switching to fire, he easily defeats most of the hornets. However, he soon faces water attribute attacks, which he learns are a result of the dense five-element spiritual energy in the Mystic Realm. Following advice from Shui Ling Zi, he retracts his true energy, which prevents further attacks. Shui Ling Zi explains that the realm has its own rules that repel foreign energies, and they discuss the potential existence of five-element source veins within the realm. Shi Mu sets off to find these source veins, moving deeper into the Mystic Realm while avoiding detection. As he travels, he encounters a powerful spirit beast resembling a turtle, which attacks him with thunderballs and a net formed by its tails. Shi Mu counters the attack with a powerful punch and successfully subdues the beast by slamming it into the ground.
