Summary

A group of people surrounds a temple, demanding the monk Fa Shi's presence for the Great King, Shibi Khan. Fa Shi, calm and respectful, faces the Khan, who is enraged over the loss of a golden body and the imprisonment of a protector. In a fit of rage, Shibi Khan violently attacks Fa Shi, leading to the monk's death. Meanwhile, discussions arise about rescuing Pu Gu Mo He and reclaiming the golden body. A young khan suggests sending troops, but Shibi Khan warns against it. They consider bribery as an alternative. In the imperial prison, Zhang Bai Ren confronts Pu Gu Mo He, who remains defiant despite his precarious situation. Zhang Bai Ren offers him a chance to submit, but Pu Gu Mo He refuses, leading to a tense standoff.
